Family Ties

My sister just got engaged! I am so happy for her. The wedding will be in June and I will have just given birth two weeks prior. I cannot believe how quickly our lives are changing.
After a disappointing blow at work, it is good to have so many blessings that can distract me. I love my family (especially little Matti in utero) and my wonderful students at school. Lucky in love, family, and friends... and aren't those the most important?

Whirlwind Lives

I realized today that I have not added an entry in quite a while. This is not because things have been boring by any means. I got married 6-20-09 and found out I was expecting on 9-23-09. I could not believe it. It was a welcome gift to be surprised with a baby on the way. My first doctor's appointment is 10-29 and I cannot wait. I believe I am about 7 weeks along but will not be surprised if I find out I am farther. It comes at a great time with my being a teacher because I get to spend the WHOLE summer with my new baby instead of only 6 weeks maternity leave. Matthew and I are ecstatic. I went to visit my family in Michigan and came home to a baby bib that said "I love Mommy" on it and a chocolate bar. I am so blessed and the blessing keep getting bigger and bigger... along with my belly!
